Balsamic and strawberries are a classic combinations flavor. I remember have remembered and will never forget that taste when I first time taste these two on my friend’s home. I got the recipe from him and now this is one my favorite salad recipes.

I often tried the different thing with this recipe like balsamic vinegar with fruit in the salad also with peach, watermelon, and even raspberries but the original one has its own iconic taste and can’t beat any other. Try this in your kitchen I hope you will love it.

Instructions
  1. Bring a small pot of water to boil. Add the asparagus and blanch for 1-2 minutes, till the stalks are still crunchy, but bright green and just tender enough to be palatable to you.
  2. Slice the basil into thin ribbons and, in a large bowl, combine the greens, asparagus, basil, and strawberries.
  3. Whisk together the oil, vinegar, mustard, syrup, and salt/pepper. Toss with the greens. Serve.
  4. Makes 2 appetizer sized or 1 sizable salad.
